Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah spoke to the media following his good performance against Bologna and touched upon his decision to stay in Turin during the African Cup of Nations.
Asamoah’s game against Bologna was his 200th appearance in Serie A. And the Ghanaian international spoke about his career and his road to recovery.

“It was hard to say no to the African Cup of Nations. The manager and the President of the Federation called me many times and I underlined how much I would have liked to go. However, over the past few years I’ve had some problems and now it’s time for me to work and play as much as possible. I’m happy because I wanted to stay here and train to help the team.”
